About this project

FuturePlay enables FutureDeluxe’s artists to explore a variety of techniques and delve into new concepts for their visual expressions, a time to explore, research, learn and develop skills. A recent internal brief asked artists to use ‘X’ as a framework for this study, to be curious and to identify a new or old process, software, or technique unfamiliar to them to help guide their explorations. Each artist created a unique and custom piece based on their vision. The focus is to not make the ‘X’ recognisable but rather to use it as a compositional framework to incorporate various elements like lines, points, and negative space.
