About this project

Modeling key moments of the World Cup using machine learning and 3D reconstruction at The New York Times R&D. As a workaround to video restrictions, our team recreated key soccer actions by reconstructing the scene in 3D from photographs. This allowed for a more natural way to experience motion and high level sports, compared to still photography.
